2011-2012 Snowmobile Season

Standing in line at the DMV. If all goes well I’m going to drop in Clarence for a shakedown cruise on the new sled.

you guys still have snow?

the 40 deg temps and rain this past weekend melted most of ours in rochester

DMV went smooth, love the secret DMV office that no one seems to use. There, paid and back to the office in 30 minutes. Guess that means I get to leave a half hour early from work today since my lunch was so short.

have fun, you will love the power, ride, and gas mileage of the sdi. Should be in the 14-16mpg range and 118-120hp.

Yup all the trails are closed for the most part. Looking at the weather I thought I read that we have the potentially for another heavy snow like that in 2 weeks or so.

still sick. hacking away and blowing my nose non stop. havent rode. FML.

a few go pro videos of the other week…nothing exciting…just breaking the sled in

I hate you lol.

picked up my new sled today. 2009 cfr 1000r. 650 miles. has a d&d y pipe, single pipe, v force reeds, boondocker controller, and some clutching. ~190+ hp.

Better start doing your snow dance, I know I am…

Are you sure you got enough sled? Did they run out of the nuclear powered ones? Sorry about your small penis.

haha nice…

i have this problem where i always want more power. im hoping this will be enough for me to be happy haha. after i get some time on it and make sure im happy with the clutching im planning to do some radar runs, should be good for 120+ on radar on the ice. hopefully it doesnt run out of gear, diamond drive gearing is not cheap to swap just to “see how it is”.

My diamond drive on the 07 F8 I had imploded…

Uggghhh, this thread makes me want a sled so bad but I just cant justify buying one right now the way these last few winters have went :frowning:

Awesome sled, congrats. Hopefully not too loud with that pipe?

that the one from Jancen?

nevermind they were selling an 800

bummer. do the recommended maint. and make sure they have the correct bearings and people have been putting 10k miles on them without any problems. im not sure if this one has the updated bearings in it or not, but since its about 60 bucks in parts an an hour of time i will be doing it anyways since im changing the oil in it.

uses stock can

got this one out in ovid ny. sled was originally from d&d in lowville.

I used to sell the crap out of the parts for those drives.
