Two of us heading out from Emery Park at the end of the 400 tonight if anyone wants to meet up. Should be there a little after 5. Plan is to shoot over to Strykersville and the Flipside for a quick bite to eat, then south towards arcade, then loop around through Colden and back up to the park.

Awesome night on the trails. Got lucky and was the first sled after the groomer for about 25 miles.
Also lucky for hitting a deer and walking away without a scratch on me or the sled. Fucking fawn stepped out of the bushes 5 ft in front of me in the woods. Luckily I was only going about 15 and just kind of nudged him.

Right when you cross hunters creek going to stykersville is where I hop on.
Funny creek crossing story… I was so mesmerized by the groomed trail (I was the first sled on virgin groomed snow) that I missed a bridge ahead sign and damn near followed the groomer into a creek. He was too big to use the bridge so he just went through the creek and I was just about to attempt it when I glanced left and noticed a bridge.

So I had my first near death experience tonight. Clipped a deer with my elbow right in the head doing 60 through a field. Fucker came out of no where, he’s lucky I didn’t make soup out of him and me.
Rode out to Boston/hamburg today. Real nice trails out that way too. Heading out tomorrow at 9 am from the valley in holland for another ride out that way. Might check out Eden trails.

Our ride today got bumped to 11 because of hangovers.
Hit one once, cleared the sled, got me in the chest and knocked me off. Wasn’t going fast, popped the windshield o-rings off the tabs. I got up, sled wasn’t too far away and all that was hurt was my pride. Deer was more scared than hurt, got up, we exchanged insurance info and both went on our way.
Rode Cherry Creek, Stockton, Bemus Point, Forestville, ect Fri and Sat 150 miles. IT WAS AMAZING!! Happy we were all able to get out. F*ck this warm up thats coming…
