2011-2012 Snowmobile Season

1800-2000 if I remember correctly. With the frequency I get to ride, I guess I don’t pay that much attention.

Did this last spring. One and done. Will see if I can squeeze this in, especially since I bought the body armor and kill switch. If no one’s riding, I’d say it’s gonna be jammed. Here’s the link I found.

My epic loss vid:

jesus that sled was quick…he pulled you hard

Yeah, not too many “stock” sleds there.

haha that first time is always a nervous one…but the rush is awesome!!

maybe if 1qikz goes we can have a small nyspeed “meet” lol

nystanger youre ok on idle rpm. isnt that sled efi? when adjusting the throttle cables make sure they close but also make sure when youre full throttle that the tb’s are open all the way. when i first got my zr800 i noticed full throttle only had the tb’s opening like 3/4 haha

Leaning towards going. Climb is at the north slope. Our club president called today because he wasn’t sure if the two days at KBKB were correct or a misprint. Who’s on board?

im in for going to KB.

found a pic from last sunday.

edit- like my darth vadar helmet? :stuck_out_tongue:

just gave a call to shcra…they are faster paced here which is great, but do not allow any warm up in staging…i may not be going unless i can find a heatshield or something to put on my pipe to keep the pipe hot…the d&d pipe doesnt hold heat well and i dont have time to wait for it to be coated until summer

Ok, getting away from all this drag racing stuff… looks like if you want to ride this weekend it’s going to be a trailer ride to Tug Hill unless the forecast changes.

This was the 219 @ the Boston exit last night on the way to Holiday Valley.

There was a bit more snow from Springville south but I don’t think enough to have any trails open.

I think we’re going up to tug hill this weekend

^^^old man doesnt like to go fast anymore :stuck_out_tongue:

i still have about 4-5" on the runways behind my house. should be enough to get me through the weekend to tweak and adjust on my sled.

looks like next week is supposed to be pretty cold though, hopefully we get a storm coming through.

oh yeah, heres a HOT skidoo xp for you guys. my buddy sent it to me, one of his friends was up in quebec, this happened about 80 miles from town. no idea what caused it to happen. hope he had some stuff to atleast make smores…ouch…

This weekend my Saturday is packed and by Sunday tug hill is usually beat to shit. This Sunday will be twice as bad since so many other parts of the state are closed.

Trying to talk my riding buddy into taking a Tue or Wed off and leaving here around 6am to head to the Hill.

Bwaaaaaaahhhh !! Don’t be a pussy. You don’t need a trophy for everything.

I’m gonna try to make it for this sunday with my buddy.

I’m planning on going as of right now. Sounds like Dime is gonna stay home and let me represent the Arctic Cat brand alone.

youre a meanie :frowning: haha im on the hunt for a heat shield for this pipe, but im planning on going.

nystanger has a cat too

Shoulda ceramic coated it like mine. Use the heat tape. Who’s bringin the liquid courage?

lol, ceramic coat comes this summer. im not waiting on a 2 week turnaround during snowmobile season when i dont have a stock pipe to slap on there.

sounds like we have 4 nyspeed people going to this

This may be the biggest gathering since the summer.

What time are you heading up? SHCRA lists a 2:30 registration but climb @ 6:00. Sounds like I’ll be pulling my pud for a couple hours.

Rich said he will try to start earlier if possible. I will probably leave around 2 to get there by 330? Not sure.

Looks like we will have a cfr800 and an f7, possibly a procross 800 in the trailer as well along with my cfr1000
