I never understood the big deal about original paint, even on classics. Does it really matter at all if the paint is original or not from a pragmatic point of view?
i kind of doubt that about this car actually.
it if were something cool or something that wsa still relevant it might…
like a Fiero, 240z, ZR1 C4 vette, maybe even an MR2, AE86 etc etc.
But the dynamics of the Z31 are such that it is totally impractical and doesnt offer anything that cant be had in a better / cheaper package elsewhere
its just so that they know it hasn’t ever had any body work of any kinda done to it
this is 1 of the ugliest cars nissan ever made IMO but WOW this thing actually looks legit. 25yrs>3000kms amazing but not always a good thing…
