If the rule was enforced the bonus would be all our imports would be worth more…I guess…

You may think the Canadian market is “tiny” and no one would care in Japan not having us in their business pocket…but it isnt as “tiny” as you think.
There would be protest…I just don’t think it would be enough to sway gov’t’s.
it is not tiny … and these JDM cars coming in did not start a business that was not already here … those manufacturers sold parts here already and still do as well as to the JDM cars that have come in …
there will be lost “potential” revenue … but its not a night and day change like when they close the dorrs there will be no customers to buy these products
