300-2J-Z-X

found this on Supra Forums. engine looks like it should be there. its got a stock 300zx TT rear end, custom driveshaft, with a Toyota R154 5speed from a Mk3 supra Turbo… has a borg warner S400, 950cc injectors, haltech stand alone. guy did it all himself. looks like a nasty car.

looks so much nicer, easier to work on, then the stock engine.

:+1 Looks like it’s way easier to work on than the V6

tons. you can actually see what youre trying to work on. not only that, its a better engine all together… nissan makes a great inline, 4 or 6. but the v6’s… not a big fan. maybe the GTR engine will prove otherwise.

I’ve been following this build for a few weeks, the dude posts on 300zxclub. Its such a sick car, he used to have a huge single turbo VG setup before.

well looks like he wised up. single 2JZ> VG30DE anything

a guy on Z31performance is building a fill drag 2jZ Z31… should be promising, and just like this 300ZX it looks like it was meant to be

deff. a sick car but DAMN is that rear of the engine close to the firewall…holy shit.

coming from the guy whose firewall cradles the back half of his engine. :confused

That turbo eats small baby’s for breakfast. :ohnoes

Yea, I saw this on there, wicked impressive.

thats my dash you fool!

theirs a few inches between my engine and rear firewall.

Mine’s the same way, about 3/4". It doesn’t really matter though since there is nothing back there to work on.

oh even better.

that looks like its made to fit :banana
