300zx master cylinder

Yes, I bet this has been asked about a thousand times but, I own a 1990 240sx w/abs. The master cylinder just went and I was wondering if the 300zx one is a bolt on piece or if theres mods required…
Either way I need to get a new one, so any help would be appriciated… Also if I order the 300zx one do I need 2 also order anything else… I have stock brakes all around but I do plan to upgrade to 300 fronts as of spring… again any help or input would be great!!

The master cylinder from the 300ZX is a different size (it’s larger), meaning that when you apply the breaks the force transfered to the brakes will be LESS than if you had a stock one so you’ll need a lot more force to lock the brakes.

To add more…
It’s because the surface area of the piston IN the master cylinder is larger, not because the reservoir or anything is larger.

you need to use the middle opening on the MC (which is usually plugged) if you don’t have ABS.
