300zx Z32 PCV replacements FYI

Drivers side! Wow my first anoying experience working on my ride over the simplest of things. I highly recommend if you are doing work such as removing the brake master cyl, plenum removal or anything that opens up that side of the engine bay REPLACE THE PCV AT THAT TIME!

Passenger side is gravy with the right tools (slim ratchet or johnson bar and thin walled deep 19mm socket. The other one requires much more strip down, removal of other components, vac lines, tubes and looks like I have to cut the current hose since it is so short and so tight there is no play to ‘wiggle’ it off.

LOL, we need to get the webmaster here to create your own forum folder called: “Dan’s Diary”.

Not dissin’, just think its funny how you’re posting every little thing you’re doing on your car.

 no doubt, hey just doing my part to keep the forum’s info growing…

Actually to tell the truth I wasn’t going to post anything on this seemingly simple thing to replace but after spending a couple hours on the drivers side and not getting anything done , thought of it more like a heads up to those planning an “hour or 2” to replace both.

Before you do the drvs side buy a new piece of 5/8 line because you will cut the old one to get it off!!

I think it’s great, when we get some real good write-ups with pics we wil definatly start up a section in the site for DIY’s.
