32 bit OS on a 64 bit processor.

I’d be fine with it, but my wife uses the computer too and hearing “Why doesn’t this work? I hate linux. You’re so dumb. Why can’t you just have a normal computer?” will get old fast.

yeah man

you better get XP back on there FAST

She loves her Mac. I’ll start with that, if it works, and from there you guys have talked me into forgoing XP x64 so I’ll install Vista at some point.

I just ordered my new computer last night and ordered a retail copy of leopard it is going to be hackintosh only, I am going to use the boot-132 method for install. I am one of those weird people that thinks if you really do like OS X pay for it, you can obviously still used a hacked installer if you prefer.

I am a little concerned of the wife with OS X but I think she will like it.

I’ve been using XP x64 since it came out…
When it first came out… it was kinda… well… a downgrade?
So I switched back to 32bit, but when I built my latest computer (about… 2 years ago now) I switched back to XP x64, and it’s night and day…
Tons of driver support, no issues at all that i’ve run in to really.
 imo.
