After running the numbers the GT28RS is pretty efficient on the 1.8T at 22 psi, but over that it falls off dramatically.
The 2871R is about 20% more efficient (HUGE DIFFERENCE) on the 1.8T at 25 psi in some areas of the compressor map. We’re talking 72% efficienct vs. around 50% (off the map) during spoolup and at high rpm.
