636 trouble

Did a decent amount of riding today 120 miles … Mostly turns in mass nothing crazy … And around 110 miles the fi light came on and off a couple times randomly … Bike seems to be running fine and light is currently off … Any thoughts ?

ya need to sell it , problems solved man . but in all honesty being injected and it havin a few sensors without scanning it its gonna be a tough call . no my scanner wont work on it either lol

Remove both seats and the storage box. Locate the loose single yellow wire coming off the main harness to the right of the storage box. With the key off run a jumper wire from the yellow wire to a good ground. Turn the key on and count the number of long and short blinks that identify the fault code. The long blinks will be the first number and short ones will be the second number of the thrown code. The ECU is substituting a value for the sensor that is out of tolerance which is why the bike still runs good. Replace the sensor at your convenience as it will not cause any running problems if it is code 15.

If its a different code then call a dealer. But most likely it wont be.

ahhhhh im sure ill end dealing with this lol

Like Greg said, it should throw a code, so find out what it is and look it up. Hope you can sort it out.

Anyone have a scanner or know of someone with one?

Have you read greg’s post?? You don’t need a scanner.

Saw it after my post lol
