i know its still winter but just felt like posting this
anyone interested in a convoy to 6 FLAGS NE and/or Great Adventure in NJ this summer???
Great Adventure has the twin of Top Thrill Dragster that is at Cedar Point its called Kingda-Ka i have been on it 3 times and all three were in the front.
and also has a coaster called: El Toro, the second-tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster in the country.

believe me these rides are worth the drive to NJ

I was planing a trick to Six Flags NE for a while, and now I have a damn good reason to go, and we could get a great group.

:wow that Kingda-Ka looks insane i’d be down to go to Great Adventure just for that, but Six Flags would be just as sweet. The Superman :banana

i go to sixflags NE, 4-8 times a year and the same for cedar point both are great, but cedar point is a drive for a group

It looks like SF NE it is.

Its in ohio, its a good drive. i forgot how long it takes but its worth it, i love going.

It may be boring, but i would NOT drive to Ohio just to go to an amusement park, F that!

there is also La Ronde in montreal, great place, some nice coasters. they have the monster, which I believe is still the largest wooden roller coaster in north america. Its HUGE.

only problem with that is everyone would need their passports

Cedar Point is deff worth the drive. Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force are just nuts.

Kingda Ka and TTD are alot of fun. Kingda is alittle taller then TTD, but its the same ride. My friend took a video when I was on it back in Oct of '06. Good stuff

AznJim…i take it you’ve never ridden Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE? Similar to Millenium Force, but alot better…more airtime, etc.

im thinking about taking a trip out there in mid-june / early july if anyones down. Just a 4 day trip…stay at Breakers so we get into the park early and what not. if anyones interested let me know.

I LOVE the superman at NE, its like a b4 11am, its like a 20 minute wait, then 12-6 its like a 1.5hr wait…def worth it. the ride lastes for 1 min 55 sec. max speed i think is 72? down the first hill

well the superman at Great Adventure is a little better than the one at NE since u lay on your stomach the whole ride!!!
