internet tough guy lol.
Adam your statement was ingorant though… lol
i’m 100% NOT racist, but i have had driving jobs for the past couple years, and asian/east indian drivers are the worst. it’s a fact. not all of them obviously, but they definitely out number canadians, which all aren’t perfect either.
i heavily agree that the majority of accidents are due to lack of driving skill, without a doubt. it’s hardly caused by people with shitty tires. like somebody else said, most of them know they don’t have snow tires so they keep safe distances from other cars. then the rest of them crash into ditches when they’re driving by themselves whilst texting on winding roads, haha. i’m currently driving my coupe how it was set up in the summer, with all seasons or whatever the hell are on my wheels. i’ve made it to work every time we’ve had a snowstorm/whatever, while passing idiots in new cars that most likely have snow tires and just don’t know how to drive. that doesn’t mean i was driving like an idiot either. i know how my car drives, and i have a lot of confidence in my driving.
I experienced a perfect display of peoples inability to drive in winter conditions this year.
Boxing day they closed the 403 towards 6 Nth so everyone had to take waterdown rd.
There must have been over a dozen cars stuck up the hill ranging from all makes, models, 2wd, 4wd etc. Yet my little 2wd toyota matrix made it up no probs. It just took a little momentum by running start.
I’d watch people in front of me drive at a crawl thinking they were going to make it up in there 4wd SUV, Oh man was it funny when they slowly slid off the road from spinning the tires constantly because they got frustrated going nowhere.
Sometimes you just have to floor it!
I don’t recall any winter driving lessons in driving school… hmmmm. do they do that now?
