Do you just have to go to a DOT place and show them the car.Found a decent car on ebay but says it comes with a 907a salvage cert. and was wondering if it was still registerable.
Thanks
Has to go to Dingens for a salvage inspection/examination. I think the cost is $150.00. application is available on line. check

For me the process was a HUGE hassle and I would never go through it again. Worked out in the end but took months to get the appt.
Griff seems to have much better luck with it and has gone through several time.
I have done this twice and never had a problem. You must have the car back to stock/safe.
This means no shady work, must have receipts (no stolen parts), no lights (ses/airbag/this car sucks light) on…
Both times I went through I trailered the car there, drove it off and into the bay…bamo 1 hour later title was approved.
It was quick and easy once I got the appt. It honestly took 5 or 6 mos to get in to the appt.

I had a similar experience. It worked out fine, but the long process just wasn’t worth it to me.
There was a period there where the back up was quite long. Now its 2-4 weeks
