91 stealth t/t tt runing rich?

im looking in to buying a 91 stealth twin turbo. the current owner says its running rich and the idle tends to be unstable… he says he installed bigger lifters… i guess the plugs and wires are shitty in the car… any sugestions? i can get the car cheap… also any on have a good suspension set up for this car. that will still be decent in a buffalo winter?

not really too sure on the idle, lifters wouldnt have anything to do with it but hte plugs if bad would…best bang for the buck on 3s’s would be ground controls, here’s mine with a 2 inch drop

better than running lean

could be a bad maf sensor? a bad maf would cause the motor to run rich and idle poorly. try unplugging it to see if it runs any different.

It’ll run really rich if it’s unplugged I’d imagine.

Try carb cleaner on the MAF element. Just be careful…

or try using MAF cleaner on the MAF element…some cars will barely run at all if the MAF is unplugged…mine wont do anything past 2500 rpm…

PM me

The more details about the car the better

My stealth TT had more then a FEW mods

on a side note everyone,

i remember reading a post saying that this car sold to someone else, and the OP is trying to find a different car

exactly. if it runs the same, your maf is dead.

could have a RFL bov… in which case all of those things would happen.
