One good thing about the Weldons is that they are machined so well internally that they produce very little friction heat on they’re own, and as such the fuel runs cooler even when the FPR is at full bypass. You can always run an inline cooler(they’re cheap) and keep fuel temps down further but it’ll likely be unnecessary on your setup.

The pumps are big though, so plan the fuel system routing accordingly.

Just remember these pumps are rated for X hp on a gasoline based. Ethanol will need nearly 50% more volume for the same power levels.

AFAIK, the big Weldon’s need the variable electronic controller to be able to use them on the street for extended periods.

It’s more like 25 percent.
