Yeah those are whistler modded. Kind of a pain in the ass to bake them in the oven to get them to split so you can paint them though.
Painting headlights really has nothing to do with the scope of this build…

I think I decided to just order a wolfe cage and have turbociv weld it in.
Also ordered a new SS spoiler its a aftermarket piece should be lighter then the stock one for whatever reason the original owner swapped it for a regular z28 spoiler.
Still waiting on my fucking valve springs to show up figure I will just goto Choko for paint first and then bring it from there to Pats.

Started building a new intake
Need to add a couple more inches to the intake and some supports I will also be boxing in the air filter around the holes in the bumper.

Car dynoed 414/378 with 23 degrees of timing however the tail shaft seal let go and started leaking everywhere.
The car is now converted to speed density only and I will be throwing more timing after painted is finished hoping for somewhere in the 430rwhp range.

I’m a bit confused…what did you do to the hood exactly? Also, shaving the fogs…got any more pics of how you did that?
We removed the backing from hood and made it pin on hood went from 48lbs down to low 20s.
Have you driven with it like this yet? I’m curious if it shakes while on the highway. I once had a fiberglass hood on my Mustang, I assume of shit quality since it had no center structure, and at highway speeds the center would move up and down ~ 1/4".
