98 SS Build

Well we added more resin to the back of the hood to stiffen it up.

I’m not really worried the hood was extremely jacked up to begin with it was try this or buy a new hood if this doesn’t work out I will be getting a VFN fiber glass hood.

However I have held VFN fiber glass hoods and they had more flex then this thing does.

I believe he added more fiberglass to make it stronger. This car is going to be so awesome. Looks great already.

Well for better or worse I got engaged and am planning a wedding which cut into my funds for this year.

Over winter I plan to take care of Rear end/transmission/suspension/cage by spring

Maybe turbo next summer

i have some ill have to add.

plastic weld/panel bond/fiber glass.

Yea I don’t know if I mentioned this but Choko has been doing amazing work on the car

Every panel was pretty much jacked up you can see a picture where I circled the dents and issues above.

We should have the car 100% back together by early next week then it’s time to change the master/slave.

Huge thanks goes to a number of people on this forum for all their help

Choda for towing it and motivation

Pat(PsychoPJV) over at Elma automotive cam and a shit load of troubleshooting

Choko paint and making what was a complete POS sexy again

John Donovan(turbociv) dyno time, tuning advice, and hopefully a turbo kit

Drew(Cougarspeed) constant harassment lol jk

I have also done all the tuning my self on this car and it seems to run pretty good hot/cold start. I’m extremely happy with the results since the cam is hugggeee

Lookin good

That youtube video probably does no justice to how BA that car sounds in person. Nice work man.

If the stars align properly I may be at Tea leaf with it on tuesday

Are the wheels staying? What are you doing with the interior?

I’m replacing the wheels with Weld RT-S wheels over winter I hate the ones on the car

I will be changing out the seats for kirkeys or another similar fixed back seat maybe brides who knows.

Badges/side moldings/Camaro off rear panel were all shaved

mine will be here next week, You sure you want the same wheels as a pos mustang

lol

You get the black/chrome or just the chrome?

I was happy someone finally made an affordable direct bolt on 4th gen F-body wheel

Black with chrome lip, same as above. I went these over racestRs due to the washers they use

best looking f-body

A lot of ef and eg civics came with a manual rack from the factory. My old one did. You don’t need power steering in a small 2000 lb car. Also less drag on the motor, less stuff to worry about and buy for a swap, ect
