Okay so Im not in the area anymore but thought maybe someone can help me via internet.
In my fuse box 99 gt mustang. There is a “20” fuse that is in the very beginning. In the back left corner.
I tried to start my car one day and it clicked clicked clicked but never started.
I check wiring and everything and as far as I know there is no short.
The fuse was blown so I got a new pack of 5. I put a new fuse in and tried to start the car. When the car clicks the fuse blows again. Even when doing nothing else. All I try to do is start the car turn the key and fuse blows and car doesnt start. Any ideas what it could be.
Even with jump start cables the car does not start.
I am assuming it is NOT the battery but anyone know any other things it could be? I hope its a simple fix.
sounds like the main battery lead to the starter corroded off the starter .common on these prolly shortin the stater signal wire out therefore blowin fuse
is the fuel pump shot or the relay bad? i’d start by pulling that relay and swapping with another. if that don’t work you need to start checking things that are on that circuit.
No offense, offense, whatever, but you don’t come off as one that knows a lot about cars and you’re gonna have a rough time troubleshooting electrical problems.
