A used clutch?

Is it a good idea to get a used clutch? like a used one that dones’t slip

It is cheaper, than a new one. lol like 10% of the new one

but is it a good idea

some people told me it’s not good b/c the used clutch is warped

any pro or con reasons to get it?

I personally would stay away from it…and I certainly would if the risk I was taking was only worth 10% off new (aka - no risk)

I can somwhat understand if you are getting a good, used clutch for like $50-$100 and you are really light on cash…but 10% just isn’t worth it in my opinion.

I think he means 10% of the price of a new one, not only 10% left on the used clutch.

With big jobs like that, people usually install new parts because they don’t wanna go through the hassle of taking the tranny back out if there’s something wrong with the part.

Yeah - that’s what I understod too…sorry for not getting that across.
