A very broad What should I buy

The Fords are going to be super boring. I would definitely rather drive a VW Passat/CC.

The new Taurus is like sitting in a cockpit - everything is wrapped around you. Some people might like that in a sports car but for a daily driver it’s a bit short on driver’s space IMO.

Have you driven a ford lately?

LOL

VW Tiguan?

practical, great on gas, nice interior when loaded. Awesome turbo motor that you can chip.

Does an Acura TL fit your criteria?

get the fusion that they want you to get or even a Jetta TDI or something that puts more $$$ in your pocket then buy a car worth owning on the side

Said MKS driver and it awesome car. Very luxury and a used model can be had for 24ish.

JayS is right, if have a SVU getting another seems like such a waste.

Crap the age requirements put’s 2010 MKS’s above your pricing, right now used 2008/2009 MKS’s can be had at great prices. Oh well still a fun and fantastic car.

I see the mks is above my range, but if I like it I can expand my range. I just wanted more money for land and building and shit. This is not going to be an easy decision. I will probably go test drive all the suggestions 1st week of December and report back my findings.

So my drag your feet company has just approved my vehicle package. I get just over $500 a month on a car. Pre orders will be filled on the 2013 ford fusion starting May 14th… I also expect them to release the pricing information at that time. So long as a fully loaded Fusion Titanium can be had for around 30K I think that my mind is made up and it will be in my driveway late august/early September depending on where I fall into the production schedule. They are at least paying me for my edge for the next 6 months even though I am out of compliance so I still have time to flip flop some more.

This exact car just with nicer wheels:

Not bad at all.

Is that a full size sedan? Looks nice.

I was never a fan of the fusion, but this latest redesign and all of the options and technology at this price point it was pretty impossible to say no to it.

They call it a mid size as the taurus is the full size. Seems roomy enough to me as 90% of the time I am the only one in it. I considered a 370z as I rarely have passengers but with a second kid coming I really have to have extra seats if something happens to my other vehicles.

 I would rock it.

Is that a hybrid? It looks good.

NO, I looked at the hybrid vs the non hybrid and the cost difference would take longer than I will own the car to make up (for the current MY at least). For a 240hp car it gets like 30mpg and as far as daily driving goes both of those numbers look almost good enough. I would like to see it over 300hp so long as it is not too crazy on the modifications. I don’t want to void the warranty day 1.

not bad

this is like the fourth time we’ve had this thread from you… just sayin.

Nope, I just bumped the first thread now that I have a decision. I cycled through several cars last year trying to find something that I truly liked and ended up with the Edge. I am keeping that, but it is costing me about $150 in gas every week and I need something that gets better mpg so this is the solution. I will buy this car and at least one more house this year, two houses next year and maybe the year after that a p car or something else fun to add to the line up. Don’t expect to see this thread or one like it for at least 2 years from me (assuming that the Fusion is what I am expecting it to be).
