Just came across this on the 350z forum, I guess theres a petition out there to have Ontario eliminate front license plates.

seriously, why the hell do we have front plates?
the only thing i can think of is so the lazy fuckin cops dont have to check both sides of cars when they’re parked.
front plates suck they should be removed
There’s a lot of other more important things that suck and should be removed or fixed. Mandatory un-regulated insurance for one. Gov’t could give a fuck less what people in our age group think, because we don’t vote.
just dont wear a front plate in protest.

It’s not a traffic violation. I don’t see why insurance would care, or even find out about it.
On that note, can you be ticketed for plate visibility? Say it’s angled, hung to low on the buper, or obscured?
exactly. why fight for something like this, when there is so much worst bs going on around tuners, young drivers, etc?
and what if they do give you this? since they gave a little to your demands, will you have to take some of theres? no modding, etc?
From what I’ve heard when you are radar checked the radar must target something flat on the car ie the license plate, so that’s what it’s used for afaik.
if you hate the front plate so much, Have your car registered in the U.S, i forgot which state doesnt require to have plates in the front but there is one.
