ACL Reconstruction Surgery... Less than 24 hrs from now...

Your throat hurts? I wonder what the doc was doing during your surgery?
:suckoff:

Glad it went well…

Glad you are doing alright. If you need anything…give me a call.

Let me know if you are up for a movie night.

Update:

Off most of the pain meds. Down to Advil and a Nucynta/Tab when I need it; maybe once a day. Icing it with the cryo-cuff a few hours a day. Started doing rehab exercises consistently a day or so ago.

Just doing leg lifts and ankle slides. I’ve got a 10-15* dead zone from straight that I cant straighten my knee into, and I can bend to about 100* if I do it slowly. Still a fair amount of swelling and TONS of bruising.

Pics:

5/11 - day of surgery:

5/12 - Day after, opened it to see the damage and change the bandages. 24 Staples.

5/16 - Few days later, still bleeding from a few of the staples, swollen and hurts like crazy; eating pain meds like candy. Bruising is just starting to show up; showing up more in my thigh than my knee, kinda strange.

I go see the doc Friday, get the staples out. Probably start PT next week. Any suggestions around the Cheektowaga area?
