If they add a section for motorsports, I’ll take a voit on affiliating with CASC when the section happens. Its not an easy task and I fear it probably won’t be possible with the attitude of people on this forum.

if you are suggesting that at a time when i was just a non-donating, non-contributing member of SON240sx, as i was when Phil and Adam were in control, that i was able to single-handedly differ the future of SON240sx.ca then you give me more credit than i give myself.

if i ever had any influence at all it was after i started holding the meets here twice a year, going out of pocket for expenses and assisting with as many functions as i could.
None of that happened until long after Phil and Adam left.

Actually I was refering to after they left…
Out of pocket, for expenses, considering how much you make at your resturaunt I would say thats the least you could do…
Personally I think a BBQ at a parking lot where the money made is re invested back into the club, rather then it going in your pocket… but that’s just me… I’m not trying to make money of the club…

Personally Im begining to hate this thread and I wish someone would LOCK it.
It started out as a mod changes thread and it’s turning into a “Let’s bash the President, vice president and mods because I think I can do a better job then they can but I would never volunteer to do it” thread.
At least the people that run this club have done a few things for the club anything from hosting meets and attending meets to hooking up people with deals on parts, repairs, services etc. which is more then I have seen
from some of the people who are doing most of the complaining and whining.
It’s funny how most the complainers and whiners are people who barely do anything for the club it self and barely never even show up at SON meets.
Some of them don’t even have an SR20DET or KA-T or RB under the hood! :lol: …Hell! some of them don’t even own a 240sx :lol:
…No offence to anyone that doesn’t own a 240sx or a 240sx without an SR20DET or KA-T or RB it was just a joke :lol: .
Again, sorry if I offended anyone, I like to be cool with everyone here, but sometimes things just have to be said.
Oh and I like the BBQ in parking lot idea posted in the post above^ with the profits going back towards the club that sounds like a cool! I would be down for that! We should have a spring meet like that!

i dont take one single red cent from a single dollar that is collected from the dinners at this restaurant. You assume that incorrectly by projecting your own selfishness on to me.
if you are going to make a claim like that then please find some evidence.
Also, please go find another venue that will allow 150 people to loiter on the ground while only 90-100 of them dine. Find a venue like this where we wont get hassled by the police, instead we get praise. Find a place that doesnt require a deposit to set that type of event up, to devote the majority of the dining area in the restaurant to a group of young men.
Then consider that this is my home and i invite everyone into it… except for you that is, as i am sure you were aware that you are not welcome here… ever
Bob, you are flamboyantly jealous and rightfully so. You will never take the time to do things like this and as proven by your previous decision making as it affected SON you show no remorse about abusing authority for your own personal ego.
In years of your bashing you have still yet to provide concrete evidence that i am doing anything shady or deceitful in anyway… and you never will find that evidence because i will never do anything for the reasons you think i do.
