my moms having probs with the headlights on her 93’ Ford Aerostar. She’ll be driving with them on, and then they will randomly kick out. We just replaced the bulbs and the switch inside the vehicle that turns the high beams on and still the same problem. What could be causing the lights to kick out? Any ideas?
Check the grounds?
its a ford, expect bad wiring…check grounds and if those are good trace the harness to them to see if the casing is worn were it goes through any grommets. that seems to happen alot on ford’s
OT: sloma are you taking the van to carlisle???
haha
HAHAHAHA
there is a blue oval in the ft of the van…start looking there.
fag :gay3:
ok, i’ll start checking there … rofl
you may need a new headlight relay harness, $25 on ebay. also check the light sockets/plug for melting. if it melted just a little. the ground pin may be loose in the socket/plug and cause the fluttering/low light. alternator could be dying off, check voltage with meter set at millivolts.
