Got the KO2s and new wheels on:
My initial observations about the KO2s are that they’re no louder on the road than my all season Pirellis. Doubling the sidewall predictably makes the turn-in response softer, but the ride quality has significantly improved! I’m actually shocked at how much more smooth the ride is.
Great choice either way.
I mentioned earlier that the duratracks were loud…theyve gotten even louder now in the cold, almost annoying level loud. I might be switching myself soon.
I have duratracs on my truck, they get louder as they wear for sure. I was at the point where I was looking to replace them with more than 50% treadlife because they were so loud. Then I rotated them and the noise went down significantly. Maybe my fault for never rotating.
