…has everyone gotten really cranky lately? When Howie asked me to be a mod and I agreed, I sort of agreed to myself to hold myself personally responsible for doing what I can to keep the bullshit to a minimum, so I can’t tell if I’m just seeing things in a new light or if things really are different lately.

I mean, it all started with the classifieds. Lots of people hated it, but whatever. You’re entitled to express your dissatisfaction with it. Fair enough.

But it just seems like the bitching didn’t stop and now everyone is here just to cut each other down. I suppose some of it can be attributed to wintertime boredom, but it seems worse than that.

So which is it? Typical wintertime boredom and I’m just being overdramatic? “Ooh I’m a big bad mod now. This is all my responsibility to fix.” :cjerk: Or is everyone really being miserable to each other lately?

The only reason that things should be more civil here is because it is a local (mostly) forum, so you are very likely to see the people you talk shit to.

we talked

i think the reason this board ISN’T civil is BECAUSE its local (mostly)

we fight like family around here knowing that - for the most part - we can come back and ask for help if we need it.

if we all took this shit serious, no one would ever get a response to their threads that were actually helpful

I agree, I’ve gotten into many fights on here, but I’m sure both me and the other person realize it’s the interweb and it doesn’t mean shit. Hell, TheKID and myself had a huge shit fit and I talked a ton of shit to him. But we finally met up and raced and he’s actually a cool guy, no problems at all since.

It’s just a message board on the internet. Way too many people get bent way too easy.
