AMS Alpha Omega - First 7 Second R35 GT-R *Now 6 Sec!*

This is clearly turning into a “tuner vs. muscle” type of conversation. How in the world would the truck do more for “meeting all safety requirements” ? At the end of the day neither of them would make good daily drivers, but the GTR is an amazing platform considering the times it’s getting without half the engine sticking out of the hood

Because you need a chassis cert to go that fast and a fuck ton of other safety items.

Lots of cars run faster with out the engine stick out of the hood

LOL this is a gem.

GTR is impressive but this is the same debate that was in the street outlaws thread…

There are lots of better platforms for going fast in a straight line.

Is this still true, or more-so for earlier gens?

Still true, the lambos also have a hard time keeping transmissions together.

Bump for 6 Seconds:

Do they have to be awd to be considered a “gtr”? Just curious to why with the millions of dollars in r&d, why haven’t they developed a glide to be fitted and rwd only? I feel a 6sec pass would of been done sooner with the type of power ams is making with billet blocks.

Is a NASCAR still an Impala?

Yeah duhhh rofl

Alpha Omega and Gidi’s car are 2 different cars.
Yes they wanted to use all “stock” drivetrain
they do 1.2 60’s on a stock style suspension. Idk how much better they would do RWD? The cars still weigh a lot. That’s the issue not the drivetrain.

First TX2K i miss in 9 years SMH lol. My friends were live streaming it for me, its really impressive considering there was a fire in the car the day before. Rip his rear bumper all apart and stuff. Solid racing.

I want to say Gidi was the first into the 9s, 8s, 7s and now 6s.
