This one is Martin’s ( owner of AMS) personal toy which he has been working on over the course of the winter. We finally had a chance to slap it on the dyno and see what it would make. Here are the specs:

Martin’s 2005 Cadilac CTS-V

Engine/Drivetrain:
• Katech 427 LS2 stroker motor with 11:1 compression, forged pistons, rods & crank
• ARP Head bolts
• Joey Mendelis custom CNC heads with high RPM valvetrain
• FAST 90mm Intake manifold
• Ported LS2 Throttle Body
• Bauer Racing engines custom cam
• Kooks headers
• B&B 3” exhaust
• HP Tuners tuned by AMS
• ACT Twin disc clutch

Suspension/Brakes
• Sachs T2 spec dampers
• Ground Control Coil-over conversion
• Hawk HP+ brake pads front and rear
• GM racing front control arms
• BMR toe rods
• BMR trailing arms
• BMR Pinion support brace
• UUC Shifter with custom delrin shift knob.

Exterior/wheels

18s look soo tiny on the car. 30 series tires dont help much either.

404 widebody not found, fender flairs are… and wtf is with the offset in the rear, you think with a “widebody” they would get wheels to at least fill the wells

looks sharp, just not liking the wet look… also may need to be a little lower

haha, sweet I didn’t know about this. Looks like some good parts AMS bought. I’ll have to ask bret about his cam and joe’s heads on that car tomarrow at the newera open house.

Ok maybe not:
I am pretty sure it is this car
which was built a couple years ago and featured in a couple big mags by a guy on the board named Chef because he is a Chef for a hotel across the street from bondurant driving school and now has a BMW all built.

More and more of these are being built with the prices dropping below $20k.
Most are just supercharging them. But cammed with headers and 3" exhaust they just sound like a beast.

I am not dropping any more big money into mine and saving for something newer.

Confirmed:

Looks like they did some more work to it once they bought it to get it running better. They stole that car for what Chef ended up selling for.
