Also have ARP LS1 mains studs which i didn’t get a pic of… Waiting on bearings and head studs. As soon as my engine builder gets back from losing his ass in Vegas assembly can begin.

I forgot i had a thread going over here lol… Some progress lately…

  • Machine work/balancing is done, parts are all ready to go and at J&J’s waiting for assembly
    -disassembled and cleaned my cyl heads, waiting on new valve seals for reassembly

  • Bought APR head studs to prevent them from lifting under boost

  • Bought a solid fuel system to be able to turn up the boost, should be here saturday

  • Lonnies Perfromance “Double Pumper” kit. Dual aeromotive 340 pumps in the modified bucket

  • 8 feed with -6 return with Earl’s hose and Aeroquip fittings

  • Fuel lab Fuel pressure regulator (i may be selling this to Psychopjv so i can buy an aeromotive unit)

  • in line filter

  • plug and play wiring harness with hobbs switch to activate second pump @ WOT

picked up

  • Speed inc/Aeromotive fuel rails

  • Dekka 80lb fuel injectors

  • BMR chromoly K member; this will make things easier to work on,provide better clearance for the down pipe and allow for further expansion in the future. This will also offset some of the added weight of the build. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g259/stanggang1892/1031111745.jpg

Bought a nice 4" core intercooler to start putting together my cold side, made some brackets for it last night and mounted it up:

My next step is to clean up the place and make it look like this again:

The garage is currently a disaster area and i want it clean for the next phase of destruction. Next plan is to pull out the interior, rewire the existing jumange of gauges and add my new ones and also route the new fuel pump harness through the cabin. I also want to pull the rear end, repaint and change the gears. I will try to update more frequently as i plan on making more of an effort at getting things done! Still waiting on SPEC clutch :lol: :lol: :lol:

There’s a reason for SFI regulations, lol. Been happy putting in Southbend/DXD unit myself, and so have my customers. Few dozen so far… none have been taken out of service. I’ve got a good PILE of blue garbage starting to accumulate.

Got some work done this week:

Dropped out the stock K member and ripped everything apart… cleaned up my QA1 shocks and springs so they look silver again and also painted the front suspension pieces that are being reused with black chassis coat.


Stock K member weighs a ton compared to the BMR one… new K member installed:

Last night i got a good chunk of the fuel system done… Never remember having a full tank of gas when i took the engine out… oops

New unit with the dual pumps and return:

Y block from the pumps that merge into a -8 feed.

and we got fuel!

Also removed all the stock feed and evap lines. All that is left to do is run and hook up the plug and play harness as well as route the feed and return lines to the bay and make everything look pretty. That will have to wait for next week probably though.

The other day i cleaned up my turbo kit and mocked everything up on one of my work benches… cant resist some turbo pr0n
