One of the last things they will do is reinstate the draft, why? Because the complacent parents of draft age males don’t have to worry about their college kids dying. If it was reinstated it would cause a HUGE uprising not only with us, but our parents. They are one step away from reinstating it though, they already are sending servicemen back after they paid their dues, only because its part of the contract.

We go to places like Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, and pretty much everywhere else in the world to shape the current events to suit us better. If you check into a bit of history with the middle east we had things going pretty smooth for a little while. Things got a little skrewed up when our foriegn leader mouthpiece sucked at everything. Insert some Islamo facists, and some jacked up military decisions by Sadam, and there you have it. We lost controll of anything over there. If you need a reminder of what can happen when we have no foothold in the middle east, then you must educate yourself as a prerequsite to responding any further in this thread.
Yep just like we shaped things so well when we gave Saddam the WMD years ago to fight the iranians, or maybe like when we put the taliban in power when they were fighting the Russians. Now we can be useful and put a govt in iraq that the people want to be a muslim based govt, and leave them in civil war when we leave.
