State Police say he rear-ended a car with his Suzuki motorcycle. He was ejected from the bike after losing control of it shortly before 12:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes near Exit 26 of the Northway. Genovese was pronounced dead at Glens Falls Hospital. He was 38 years old.

Ride safe

isn’t this the 2nd motorcycle death this season?

Yup. Its only March and there have already been 2 deaths… not looking like its going to be a very good season at this rate…

At least 4 people I know either got back into riding or are buying their first bikes this year.

Time will tell.

There WILL be an increased number of riders this year due to gas/economy shit which means there WILL be more accidents… its inevitable

always happens at the start of the season.

that just happens to be alot earlier this year.

How do you rear end someone up near exit 26? Was it raining up there at that point or was horseplay involved?

where was the first one?

Might as well make a thread for nickalero now… if he actually has a bike :lol

Below comment not specific regarding this incident.

Obviously not all accidents are avoidable, but I would say most can and especially the type that is self induced.

If you ride like you are invincible and dress like you are indestructable when you ride, then you’ve made an active choice to expose yourself to additional risk ON TOP of the risk of riding alone.

Good luck this season.

A kid from HVCC was leaving school riding crazy and T-boned a ford escape. He hit it so hard it spun the car around …
