:eek3 That sucked…wow…
sad week for sure… can happen to anyone though, never really know 100% what causes most accidents.
I guess my boss knew the guy who crashed into the boat. He was a Hannaford store manager. This was his first year riding, the 2012 Triumph being his first bike.
jeez
Ouch…
Another one dead from the same area…

uh… guys, JSE has a Triumph…
edit: sorry, read it again. not JSE. still, RIP.
Fayville’s a fun road. Crap.
I found a Favyville Creek by Fish House Rd, but where is Fayville Rd?
Sad to hear
Fayville Rd runs from Barkerville to South Shore Lake Rd by Sacandaga Lake.
Just search Fayville rd, Barkersville, NY
Good road but I have found that you gotta watch out for dirt and gravel… let’s just say I almost found out the hard way
Almost seems like it’s a road to avoid instead of look for.
Plenty of other good options in upstate.
That blows. The more I read about these accidents, the less “fooling around” on a bike I’ll be doing. I dont wheelie or “stunt” at all, but even riding the twisties just doesnt seem to have the same appeal anymore. I really think I’ll be looking to take the bike to a track day if I want to mess around.
I actually road around the lake today… up South Shore and back on North Shore from Hadley then hit the Fayville Rd on the way back home.
I wasn’t going all out as normal today since there were so many of the weekenders at there camps and all over the roads.
Like someone else said in a post earlier its a fun road but you gotta be cautious especially if your not familiar with the road…
I know a few corners that always have gravel near the edges so I always slow down to a safe speed.
Sully… totally agree with you about not going as hard n the twisties as I see so many accidents happen.
I’d just like to know the cause of some of the accidents…
I’m still here. Lol
Happened last night…
damn, I know that spot
jesus. falling off a cliff after all that.
RIP to the poor lady.
this is getting weird. that is another one of my favorite roads and I ride that section almost every weekend. its got some really nice high speed turns.
strange how people keep dying on my favorite roads… maybe its a sign :ohnoes
kinda weird that she crashed there though. where the lookout is is pretty straight. very sad anyway though. RIP
I use to take Faville road to the lake 2-3 times a week. It was a great road 5-6 years ago. But as of lately, they’ve been doing a lot of construction. Still a fun road, but not what it use to be. Same with the lake. I just can’t get into it up there anymore. I hear about all these accidents. I just can’t push the limit anymore up there. Plus I have my fiancee on the back. Just not worth it anymore. At somepoint, we all start to grow up.
if you are not familiar with the road, there is 2 sets of left then right sharp corners. if you don’t know the road, or are not paying attention they come up pretty quick. yet another reason to BE SAFE. I don’t wanna read about/report on any of you!!!
