Just moved into the North Tonawanda area near Walck and Payne. Fios is not available in the area and I am leaning towards TWC. What package will be the best bang for the buck? I don’t want 300 channels of nothing but would still like to have the NFL/NHL games available and I don’t need crazy internet speeds. I mainly stream Netflix and game a bit on the PS4 and browse the internet. There was a TWC package that I had used at my parents, I do not know specifics but the result of the speed test seemed incredibly low for what I did on that internet. Netflix/Ipads/Phones throughout the house all at once.
If there are any reps on here or anyone has friends in it, I would love to throw some business their way.
TWC bundles tend to be the cheapest when you get TV + Internet + Phone. I was pricing it and you can get Prefered TV (most channels save for premium’s), 50/5 Internet and Home Phone. You also get the Enhanced DVR and one extra box with whole home service. Price for this with getting my own cable modem was 120 a month.
It really depends on your needs and wants. Check out their bundles and see what fits with your budget. If you have the choice of Verizon DSL versus TWC, always go TWC, VZ’s DSL service is pathetic and sad.
And the thread has officially become a bandwidth dick measuring contest.
Back on topic, Time Warner’s standard 15/1 plan is probably all you need. I’d like it a lot more if it was 15/5 but for normal surfing you don’t use much upload bandwidth.
