I’m not super up on NYSpeed, but I’m pretty sure the duplicate post joke was a 1/10 2 years ago.
My wife and I hit the lottery when we had to move to the 'burbs last year. All my neighbors are awesome, and regularly party together. Halloween we closed down the bar at 3 different houses. We didn’t get home until 3:30 AM. It was a nice introduction to the neighborhood.

The neighbors in the city are armed too. The only difference is my neighbor didn’t lift it off the body of a 16 year old gang banger on E Ferry.

I have lived in the city for years and looking to move back to the burbs. The quality of the upkeep is worth it. City doesn’t plow, streets are terrible, parking enforcement is brutal, and everyone thinks having a conceal and carry permit will make you safe like an idiot. Most shootings in the city are random where people are standing outside and someone open fires. The whole western duel is how shootings go down is moronic.

i grew up in hamburg. I live in the city now. I wish I would have moved here years ago. To each their own.
Having lived in the sticks/small suburbs/large cities, and large suburbs surrounding large cities, I much prefer being slightly farther out than the burbs – mainly because I enjoy doing whatever the hell I want.
