The two main differences between the burbs and the city is; In the burbs you get an extra 3 feet between houses and there is less violence. You can have them both, I will live in my own little world which I have created… and am the king of.
If/when I leave the city I will skip the middle and get out there like what you and BED describe. Where my wife grew up in Pendleton that had a ton of land(mind you to me a ton is like anything more then .25 acres) and we always have a fkin blast visiting out there.
Skip this new house and lets create a compound.
I hear ya.
I did get lucky and recently bought on a double lot. .41 acres which is hugeeeeeee given my location.

Only if we can start a cult too. Minimally a militia of some type.
so into this
Drew when you sell that house you can buy a 4ksf house with 50 acres out here lol. Maybe a paved 1/8 mi test track.
I don’t hate this idea for when I have a family someday.
You guys able to shoot guns on your property? My vision of life out there is probably pretty detached from reality. haha
More importantly, how close is the nearest Spot Coffee and is there an art museum within walking distance?
You’ll have to stop out this summer. :usa:
I don’t drink coffee but I do go to the art museum and history museum 4-5 times a year. Further more in the summer I go on just about every first friday gallery showing. I understand these things don’t add value to many but to me they do.
I live in the suburbs, DO drink coffee but I also go to art galleries and first friday events (but I drive there) … I’m so confused and lost in this world.
You mean you are in the burbs and dont think the only point of art is to talk about it like it ads no value to this world?
At my inlaws in stafford, you can literally walk out the back door and shoot. There are targets set up already and everything. It’s pretty convenient when you need to go grab another beer
T’was but a joke!
I could never live out in a rural area. Even Alden/Akron/Newstead is just not my cup of tea. I need fast internet access, I like having amenities, within pissing distance, I like the town services, etc.
That being said I can definitely understand the attraction of living in a more secluded area.
Bitch please this thread is nothing but 4srs.
Want to meet in the walker plaza for appletinis and $200 jeans later?
So the flaw in your logic is this all of those places have Time warner and can do whatever speeds the city can…However the city will NEVER have Fios and OP and other places already do
I has FiOS 50/50
WTF are you nerds on about? This isn’t a nerd thread. This an anti-burb thread.
Keep it on track
