deont waste your money that kit is stupid!!!
no matter what numbers it may have made!!!
question-- look at where the turbo is mounted thats about 2g + worth of parts hanging where your muffler would be
one rock -board in the road wham!!! no more turbo!!!–id rather rip off a muffler then a turbo!
second take a look at where the air filter is placed!!! once again rain—puddle of water the bitch is gonna suck up water!!!
third they way the piping is designed you cannot run subframe connectors on your car and may just be me but thats one essentiual mod for a f-body i sure as hell wanna have especilly if if gonna hit the track
if your planning on dropping 4k into a kit belive me save your money and do it the right way!!
i was considering doing that kit till i actually researched it and spoke with the designers a good deal about the kit whne it was still in the development stanges along with my buddy rick(amswells1)
we where on the design list to get it for 2500 bucks
needless to say-after all that and that price it still didnt convice me enough to get it
i went with another kit (which should arrive at my door on friday)

if your seriouse about putting a turbo on your care i can help lead you in the right/safe and reliable directioin along with others on this board but i will warn you of this!! it will cost!!
you gotta pay to play!! when done right and not cutting corners you can have a very safe and reliable balls to the wall turbocharged LS1
:D:eek:
things to consider before even thinking about taking the turbo plunge—
rearend
10 bolt ha forget it!
need a 12 bolt first!
stick you will need a new stronger clutch stock will go bye bye and wont get a solid tune cause it will slip while on the dyno
auto better get a stall-
suspension
the list is long
tourqe arm
subframe connectors drive loop
sway bars
spring/airbag–or hal qa1 set up
and fuel set up!
pumps lines fittings–thats all about 1200 bucks!!
dont forget injectors and fuel rails about 600+
bottem end! hay stock bottem end! not a chance better consider a iron block with some forged internals!
you can run safely on the stock block but will never be able to crank the boost up to its full potetial it is capable of!
so honestly if your worried about spending 4000
a turbo isnt your route
i would say do the basics first get your self a 12 bolt and some gears
and work the bolt ons before even thinking about a turbo

for 4 grand minus 2 grand for a rear end minus 2 grand for ported n polished heads save a lil more and get a big cam n suspension stuff youll see 11’s or go the SS pewter route heads cam nitrous and run low 10’s.
Right now im saving for suspension stuff and working with what i have untill i get bored and get heads and bigger cam 11’s for me is possible but still far away
