Any problems with HID's?

4300k in the Z from ebay

I deal HID’s and I have 6000k in all my cars. Its high enough to not attract much attention 8k or higher your gonna get busted.

x2

i got a set for my fogs from them…i also got a couple kits from them for other ppl…and they love them & have no issues with them at all

I agree. I got 2 kits for like $118 shipped. Over a year now and never had a single problem.

I do have them, the kits are 225 plus install, 2 year warranty. try getting a warranty from ebay…

thanks, this comment is sure to help me buy next years sponsorship…

Some of you “dealers” must not understand the “K” portion of the kits,

“K” is NOT how bright they are… just as 10,000 watts doesnt = louder.

^ Yeah, “K” has to do with the color of the lights. Like someone said 4300K is close to stock color (a little yellowed). When you get near 5000K it should be a pure white and 6000K will have a slightly blue tint. Then as you get higher, it goes to a blue and then purple.

I wasn’t saying they were bright? I was saying they are just what I run.

I got both 35w for my fogs and 55w for my low/highs

i’m rocking 35w 6k. love them.

i got mine from this guy two years ago. he is very involved in the volvo world.

i know him personally and is a super stand up guy.

he has a sale going right now.

feel free to drop my name. just say flyfishing3 mike the volvo guy.

mike

yeah i think he was just talking about the color. if you get the 10000k bulbs you will get noticed is what he is saying… get the 4300 or 5k and they wont say anything because they look stock. never said that they will blind people

thats great that you sponsor the site but this site isnt your personal business page. you aren’t gonna get the do it yourselfers anyway. i’m sure there is plenty of people that dont want the hassle and will pay you to do it. if i get burnt on a $80 HID kit its my stupidity, i’m not gonna pay all that extra money for a warranty. buts thats me, some people need that security. i ve gotten advise from other business owners on this site that could have charged me to do it instead of telling me how but thats what car guys do.

curious as to why my post was deleted?
