alright heres the situation, my car wouldnt start in St.Catherines at a buddy’s place of mine, so the battery was dead, I bring up a new one, hook it up whatever everything is cool, my buddy puts the dead battery in my backseat and I’m rushing to get back to Hamilton for work. SO, battery has been in the backseat for about a week, and it leaked generously all over the seat…nice…any suggestions of going about cleaning battery acid…??? anything…
Your seats are done for, you need new ones, I have a spart set I can sell you for cheep.
Baking Soda and water. The base that is the baking soda will neutralize the acid. (remember science class?) Let it soak overnight.
If I were you I’d pull out the seat and clean it and the car really thoroughly. I used to use soap and garden hose on the seats of my winter beater. (after pulling them out of course).
