Anybody good with a porter cable? v. Frytard

I can help you out this weekend if you would like.

I moved my truck quick and thought i left it in gear. I was wrong. It rolled down my driveway into my silo without me in it. :picard:

Fry just shoot me a text. I can take care of it for you or if you are in a pinch for time you can borrow my equipment.

i will vouch for teh speed of a certain feline species. I witnessed him remove a nice sized gouge out of a car door before.

Excellent. Maybe I’ll bribe you with beer to take care of it since you’ve got the skills. Incoming text.

Or you can make good on the handjob and clean up

First buff of the season. Glad it is getting used up by some asshole that can’t drive. <3

I wouldn’t really call backing out of the driveway “driving”. It’s more that I had trouble with life for a moment.

Anyway, here are pics of the carnage after a quick wash & clay, edited for proper nyspeed photography presentation.

I actually did a pretty nice job of wrinkling the panel.

looks like 90% of it would buff out, just from the pictures it looks like there are a few deep scratches that might not. especially in the group towards the front of the car and the one long scratch closest to the door handle.

It’s a brand new car. Suck it up, take it to a shop, and have it fixed right. If you “mostly” fix it you’re going to kick yourself every time you see that side of the car because you’re going to immediately see that it isn’t 100%.

I agree with Jay since the panel is wavy now. Otherwise I think the scratches could be buffed out.

thats an easy one…5 min max lol shoot me a text 913-4293

There’s no hurry and I’d rather now shell out $500 for the deductible right now. I’ll see if I can feed cougarspeed enough beer to fix the paint and deal with it for a month or two. Maybe if the Mazda sells for a decent price…

That will buff out

wash, clay, polish, wax… most of it should come out unless there are deeper scratches into the clear.

PM me if you want any help.

wash, clay, polish, wax… that will come out

eek we shall see.

God, I hate those moments, they make me so angry.

the door panel is wavy, this requires a new doorskin to fix.

Take one for a test drive at the dealer with a fake ID and do a swap
