I just picked up a Wii, and have modded it to play backed up games. I have a program to make DVD-Rs from the *.ISO files, but my drive dosent even see that there is a disk in it… Also I cant get BootMii to save my NAND… So basically I am just wondering if anyone here knows anything about modding Wii. And if you have a link to a GOOD torrent of “The Conduit” that would be awesome too!

SoftMod is very easy, you just need a SD card, and some files like HackMii and the Home Brew channels *.wad file. These are the best sites I have found so far. Just read everything first! So you run less chance bricking your Wii.

Well as long as you have the “Homebrew Channel” and “wad manager” your good to go. If you dont have that yet, follow the tutorial I linked to further up. After you have that done, download the games you want from: http://www.wiiso.com/showthread.php?t=25253
Put the *.wad files on an SD card in a folder “wads”, then goto HBC and use the “wad manager” and install them. Viola! You can haz WiiWare games fo free! What. Up.
Srsly tho, if you need help, ask! I have been reading up on this crap for the past week, so I have a pretty good handle on it.

i got a wii, its alright, i still prefer my pc for gaming. although the interaction with the wii is what sold me on it in the first place i can get wireless stuff for my pc too its just wicked expensive.
