I’m not to one to bitch and moan about a ticket, I’ve gotten plenty in the recent years and I paid my dues, but this one is just ridiculous IMO in it’s circumstances.

you remember the bright red car i used to have? oh man, i used to go 5mph under the speed limit and i TILL got hit with radar. they’d follow me to use their speedos to check my speed too. it was so fcking annoying. isnt that crap harassment or something? i didnt do anything, but still, its annoying to drive with a damn escort all the time :idiots now? they dont give a rats ass if i blast past em goin 80
yup, its called profiling. cops fucking rule at this. i even take my hat off when driving. they are taught to “look for that type of stuff.” :wtf
i deal with this non-stop when my bmw comes out as well. that is why my detector was purchased about 2 1/2 years ago, and no speeding tickets since. paid for itself a long time ago. :mwahaha
since they can’t bag me with speeding, they focus on the smaller but annoying infractions like: unsafe backing, failure to turn as required, inadequate exhaust, front plate not mounted to bumper, tinted taillights etc… :headbang
if there is a law for it, i’m certain i’ll get pinched for it at least once in my lifetime. :idiots
judging on the type of piss poor driving i see everyday, i dunno why they target me. i mean i have seen some shady ass moves. i have near misses all the time because of people’s carelessness, and just outright lack of ability behind the wheel. :shifty

Cops are out looking for bigger things than traffic violations most of the time, those are just bonuses. They’re looking for drugs and other bigger offenses. So if you’re a cop looking for drugs,etc are you going to pull over the young kid in the modded car or grandma in her Buick? Profiling works.

yea, profiling is a beeyotch. my car blends with traffic cuz its black. i mean the 19s set it off a little, but not enough for them to just jump on me like with the Eclipse. man, that car is like chum to hungry sharks in the water

what i really meant was i don’t even need to break the laws. they can just get all ticket happy from time to time in my experience, and just stick you because they can. it gets really played out. i can see how my car is modded, and i’d be more likely to be “up to no good,” but honestly, my bmw is a '93 w/ almost 180k on it. it has rust and is in need of some attention on the exterior. it doesn’t look like a show car by any means. just because i bought a <$5,000 car i’m not a coke dealer.
i think the problem lies in exactly what you said “they are looking.”
looking too hard, and pushing too hard too many times to just fire off tickets. they way they look at it, whether you are going to be found guilty or not, they did they’re part by trying to generate some revenue. some just seem proud to inconvenience you at least. a lot of cops seem to have a total chip on they’re shoulders. there are times where i feel i was very polite, (i always am) and they don’t even acknowledge it. i might as well just have handed them over my credentials, and told them to f- off. :headbang
