I purchased a car 2 years ago and have had it in storage ever since. The car is from NC and I didn’t know the title had to be notarized for registration in NY. Myself and the person who sold me the car thought it only had to be notarized if it were being registered in NC again. This was 2 years ago, I no longer have any way to get ahold of the original seller. I went to the DMV today to try and register the car and they say it needs to be notarized. They have to follow NC laws and the title has to be done according to how NC wants it. Can I still get it notarized? Anyone know somebody that can help me out? Thanks

I had the same problem while in NC. We ended up buying off a notary, what else can you do.
