Im going there in two weeks and wanted to know what you thought. I have been doing strictly cruises over the last fws years and have had a great time on all of them. We wanted to see what an all inclusive was like. I hope it will be a good time, actually I know it will be but I just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this place. Its the second best resort in the Dominican and has some good reviews.

Colonial or Elegance? Coincidentally the GF just landed at the Colonial a couple hours ago, will be sure to get her review in a week. I’ve been to Punta Cana 9 times but never stayed at Majestic.

Hmm, I’ve only done cruises I should look into an all inclusive. I booked our 3rd Royal Caribbean cruise to the bahamas for the first week of september. Maybe next year will be an all inclusive. I’ll keep an eye on this thread for more info.
i had my eyes opened to all inclusive this past march. i drank from the time the bar opened (10 am) till we allowed it to close (12:30-1), and then we got a tray to take the the beach, killed that, and came back and put work in on a keg they wheeled out to the pool area.
one day I drank nothing but straight rum because I got tired of the taste of coke.
easily killed well over a grand worth of booze myself, and i went there with a bachelor party.
Elegance. We have a junior suite. Should be a good time.
We have been on 5 cruises and loved everyone one. In January we are taking the baby on the Oasis of the seas. I cant wait for that one.
I’m telling you, unless you’re teatotalers, after doing an all inclusive at a place like this paying extra for $7 drinks is gonna get old real quick.
Back from the trip, had a great time. LOTS OF BEER drank, meet some really good people. I need a vacation from my vacation. Weather was also awesome, katia was worrying me but never even had a drop of rain.

If I would have seen this I could have told you the Majestic was awesome. The food was amazing. Nothing like the in pool bar to cure a hang over.
