Anyone Drive Early This Morning?!

Holy moly.

Ice like i’ve never seen this morning.

I was warned leaving work at 7:30am that it was a “skating rink” out here (Scarb, North York, Brampton…)

The car was quite hard to get moving, spinning really easily from a stop in 2nd, and at 50 km/h (highest speed I ever hit) in 3rd, tapping the gas lightly promptly got the wheels spinnin’ and car sliding! :shock:

I was trying to make a civil right turn with a cop looking right at me…tryin’ not to slide and be bait…eeek :wink:

Then I get home, and feel the ice on the road…totally ice, had to walk like a duck to get in my house alive.

Anyone else?? :slight_smile:

oh yeah man i did a 360 almost ended up in the ditch luckly somehow i manage to spin right around and keep going in the same direction i was heading. wierd shit

i didn’t even bother leaving the house today. my van has about half an inch of pure ice over the entire thing.

and when i took my dogs out to do their business, they were falling all over the place. it was kinda funny.

yeah i fell and broke my ass walking my dog…and its not even that icy out here

it wasnt much better out in whitby, i had no problem getting out of my driveway, as soon as i did i couldnt get it going and then went to hit the breaks at 20 and started to slide.

Like that all the way to school.

Ice? where?? i had today off, but it looks pretty dry outside (in scarborough)

I drove early this morning. It was pretty good, except someone vandalized the car. Took the entire steering assembly and put it on the right side.

Then some ruffians painted the wrong signs on the streets, so everyone drove on the wrong side. Amazing.

On the bright side, it was a balmy 7 degrees.
