Only decent car…
Some car group when your best car is a VW.
So is this club/scene the Italian/Puerto Rico club and the want to be tough guy scene? lol I see a lot of “Bros” on that page.
Pretty sure it doesn’t involve any Italians.
I kno jake well, I’m not his best friend tho, thanks norb.
WTF did i just watch
So I didn’t look back to see if this is posted… does anyone know if any legal issues can come out of these videos that have been getting posted on FB? I watch the page because I laugh when I see crystal clear videos posted of cars racing. I feel if I’m able to watch these and make out every car I’m seeing, some names being tossed around, a few people commenting under them and pretty much admitting to being the driver. Wouldn’t the cops be doing the same thing I am? Shit I know the comments, “cops have better things to do” is going to be tossed out there, but after some deaths from racing… I feel they keep an eye on those things.
Anyone know the situations with these videos and what can go on?
Yes a bunch of people got in trouble in Texas back in the day.
Racingfreaks and it has happened multiple other times with other groups.
There is a chance they don’t know about it yet… until some douchebag tries to be Johnny BeGoode.
Tattle tales are the fucking worst.
I mean back when UBRF/NYSpeed was really rollin people were posting racing videos every night and we never had a major issue.
Racing isn’t really a huge issue here like other states you have 5-6 months out of the year, very few deaths, small % of people who do it when you compare to places like Texas and Chicago.
I had a potential MAJOR issue. That’s why I ended the > list.
Yeah, I’m not one to run my mouth and I’m not going to on this either. I just sit back and wonder how dumb people can be about posting these then admitting it. I mean I know some people around here.
I’ll continue to :troll:
Because a lot of us have been doing it forever with no issues?
This coming from the same person who had no idea people met up at Mighty
If you notice no one posts up names, license plates are blacked out, no street names and you have no idea how fast someone is going. You can assume all these things but you may be wrong.
If you dont think there’s not a cop who has “liked” that page you’re a fool lol. Ppl only come to where it is mostly via word of mouth.
Its not like Brian O’Connor is going to show up undercover and try and race someone
I was in buffalo last weekend up from Virginia, and I stopped out to this Saturday night. There was a ton of cars at the meeting spot and the racing in “Mexico” was pretty interesting. Not the fastest cars I’ve seen run but it made for a good time.
If Brian O’Connor showed up I would shit my pants…
I’m not a cop…
Check the kill stories section of this forum back when it first came around.
If people want to do this stuff I can’t really hate on 'em because we all used to do it. As long as you accept the risks / consequences of your actions. But for those who assume they’re free & clear, you’re living in a dream.
The risk of getting caught based on internet videos of street racing is rather low. 716 racing leans on facebook pretty heavily which might increase risk a tad.
At least when you consider all the other factors getting pulled over, someone crashing, someone crashing into you, legal action, etc
