well, i am looking for a car that i need for a project ive been putting together for some time now, and im starting to look to source my parts for it. does anyone go to the auctions where you can buy totalled vehicles?

i need to get over to a dealer parts department to enquire on the cost of some brand new parts for said car, as a rough estimate for if i develop a full turnkey/bolt on kit.

i wont be finding a cosworth at an auction. only 7 exist road legal in the US…beleive me lol.
canada has a few, but i havent seen one for sale there in about 6 months.
importing one from the UK is going to cost me at least $25k for the car, plus shipment and conversion to NY standards.
this is for a way more practical and readily available luxury sports sedan. :snky:

hell yes. cosworth didnt make a focus…for just has the focus RS over in the UK, which is a turbo FWD 220hp version.

all im willing to say at this point, is that the focus community on the forums told me i would never be able to design and built what i am/have to make the focus what im going to make it, and within the budget i know i can do it within given a parts car. once i get the parts car i will slowly leak more info on what im doing, and most likely be contacting hybrid about a few questions, but not until the time comes.
you know it might help to say what kind of car you are looking for.
