i have one, let me know, you know where I live if you need it.
Harbir freight has them so does napa on wehrle
IDK about BMWs but you can fill nissans through the shifter hole…
Yea but how do you know when you’ve put enough in? BMW says to put it in till it starts to flow out the ‘in’ plug…
I have a really tiny pump I used to use for gassing up RC cars and planes that I use. Gets in the space no problem. Look for one of those from a hobby store.
you take out the fill plug and pour it in the shifter till it comes out the hole…
lol.
def no room to do it from above
I mean you actually take the shifter out of the transmission and pour it in through the hole where it came from.
i see you didn’t look at your trans before you discarded it for a nissan one
Bah, just looked at realOEM, these have the shift linkage going into the back, don’t they?
aye
Another trick I used to fill my maxima transmission was to drill 2 holes in the cap for the oil, insert one hose all the way to the bottom of the oil container and the other into the fill on the side of the transmission. Make this hose as big OD as you can, and long enough to reach comfortably into the transmission from next to the car. The other hole in the cap, stick your air compressor blowgun nozzle in.
Pressurizing the bottle will force the oil up the hose into the trans. Try to keep the holes in the cap close in size to the hose/blowgun
fightinmike used a siphon hose once. took a while to pump the fluid in but it worked.
walmart has them, its what i used on my evo. worked fantastic!
lol, until you use it to siphon gas…
lol, well thats a different case then
just a cheaper solution i suppose, i think it was like ten bucks or something like that
harbor freight has these
that straight?
YOu need to learn how to search the HF website better
And you REALLY need to just go to napa, they had 20 there recently
