Looking to change my tranny fluid soon and was wondering if there is a dipstick on the RB20 tranny or do you have use the old mechanics method by checking with your fingers?
If its a standard then yeah, you gotta pull a plug on the side of the tranny and shove your finger in. I have never actually seen a Nissan auto, lol so… It should have a dipstick. I know that some newer chev cars on their auto’s don’t have dipsticks.
So how do you go about filling then?
if it is a standard the easiest way to fill is right through the shifter, just pull your shifter out and fill it through there i cant remember how much fluid it is i think it is 3 litres…but dont take my word for that
if you need to top it off just jack your car up with jack stands in the front of the car and the rear so it is level. Then pull the plug on the tranie and then go up to your shifter like said above and fill it up slowly till oil comes out of the bung hole.
HAHA bnng hole
^ hahaha. Well thanks for all the advice guys.
