Through the shifter hole.
that means i have to take apart the shifter?
on my gts-t i just had to peel back the boot and the shifter is held in place by a c clip just squeeze the clip and the shifter pulls out.
Well there is a side fill hole, but yes the shifter method is the easiest.
If you can get the car on a hoist you can fill it from under the car with a fill hole on the side of it. Fill it until it starts to spill out of the side hole then close it up and top it up a little bit from the shifter hole from inside the car!
hahahahahaha

What’s funny?
when he said shifter hole i was picturing where the shift knob is. yeah i know im slow.
yeah.
Pull the shifter out and pour it in the hole.
What other shifter hole is there?
pulling out the shifter is the easiest way to do it. the fill plug underneath is usually on there so tight that there is no way you can get it off of there unless u have super powers or a really long breaker bar.
or an impact and an applicable knowledge of the tool!
you could buy a transfer pump for $8 at princess auto or CT… and fill it through the side hole in the tranny.
its really handy to have one for the diff, so you might as well get one. if you have a transfer pump the side hole in the tranny is easier (1 bolt)
Ya im gona have to get the transfer pump.
cuz the dame shifter nuts are so hard to get at.
Electric pump or manual?
I bought a transfer pump from princess auto once that was like 9 bucks or something, you use a drill with it, worked awesome. Then I rolled my toolbox over it and it doesn’t work anymore.

An impact will not fit in between the trans tunnel and the transmission.
hmm well i got it to work on the gts
sooo shitty deal
what tranny are you talking about? the bolt on my sr20 tranny was no problem. its a square hole, you just put a large ratchet directly into it and reef hard… if that doesnt work, you can put a jack underneath the handle of the ratchet and jack up the handle to turn it. that has worked for me at times…
i’ve seen the KA drain bolt, and i know its almost impossible to get off… liquid nitro and torch
Electric pump or manual?[/quote]
manual pump… basically looks like a little bike pump, with hoses coming from both sides of it. it uses some kind of one-way diaphram to pump liquid through
